Have you ever looked into a cows big brown eyes and felt compassion or love? Have you heard about veganism, vegetarianism, or anti-speciesism and wondered exactly what these words mean? Have you once been vegetarian but decided it wasn’t for you, and are now rethinking that decision? Or simply wondered what your yoga practice has to do with our relationship with animals.
Yoga For the Animals is for anyone curious about veganism, protection of animals from harm, anyone who wishes to broaden their sense of compassion for and connection to The Animals - from our beloved companions at home to the wildlife and farmed animals with whom we share the Earth.
We will meet Thursday evening sessions to discuss, meditate and practice asana in the spirit of healing and deepening our bond with animals - the other earthlings with whom we share this sacred time.
