Ashlynn ANdersen

Experienced Certified Yoga Teacher, Operations Manager

Ashlynn is an artist, writer and mother who loves learning + unlearning!

They appreciate how Yoga integrates ease and steadiness into life, and adore the way it heals the nerves like a soothing balm. Ashlynn keeps coming back to yoga because of how bringing it into every moment joyfully supports the body, mind and spirit.

Growing up beneath the big sky in the red clay of the Jumanos, Kiikaapoi, Wichita, and Tawakoni Nations in North Texas, they now live on the land of the Umoⁿhoⁿ and Očéthi Šakówiŋ Nations, colonized as Omaha, Nebraska. Reverent, loving relationship with the Earth and all her sacred creatures is tender and deep in Ashlynn’s heart. This too is Yoga. Connection with nature. Our nature. All nature.

A sadhak of 14+ years in the Himalayan Hatha Yoga lineage, they humbly follow a tradition over 5k years old, passed on to them by Susi Amendola who learned from Swami Rama. In 2013 they were initiated with mantra by Dr. Rolf Sovik, and in 2014, Ashlynn completed yoga certification with Omaha Yoga + Bodywork Center (Yoga Now).

Building capacity with relaxation and imagination is Ashlynn’s calling! Residing in the intersection of creativity and empathy, they hold space for genuine inquiry. They gently invite thresholds of release and connection on our personal and collective path toward freedom.
