NICOLE E. CRAWFORD
MA, MS, LIMHP

Nicole is a depth psychotherapist who works with both individuals and couples. Utilizing a somatic and psychodynamic approach, Nicole looks at past and present identity formation, intimacy patterns, protective behaviors, and sexuality. With nonjudgmental perspective exploration Nicole encourages her clients to get curious about the personal metaphors living in and alongside them to help expand understanding around the rest of their stories.

She often partners with people who are experiencing the confusion, anger, and shame that comes from living with persistent emotional hunger pangs. At the core of her work, Nicole endeavors to facilitate the healing process between her clients and their deep desire for a well-fed life.

Nicole has extensive experience supporting clients as they seek to reestablish personal agency and reconnect with erotic intelligence. She is deeply passionate about shedding light on invisible and/or emotional labor within relationships and she supports people in the naming and navigation of physical, psychological, and emotional symptoms born from relational imbalances. Nicole believes in the integral role of embodied androgyny in healthy relationships and she aims to empower her clients by raising awareness around how gender and race impacts privilege, diagnosis, social credibility, and cultural progress.

Nicole’s work is trauma-informed and intersectional. She has experience working with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief & loss, Complex PTSD, parenting/co-parenting stressors, and life stage transitions. She holds an MA in Depth Psychology with an emphasis in Somatic Studies from Pacifica Graduate Institute and an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UNO.
