This workshop is designed to help prepare the expectant mother, and her support partner, for the journey of labor & birth. We will touch upon the process of birth, and will practice breathing techniques, coping techniqes, labor positions & massage, as well as birthing positions. Your support person could be anyone that will be there for your birth, your partner, mother, sister, friend, etc.
Breathe, Relax and Feel

This workshop is for those that want to create more quiet time in their lives. Instead of running to the next event in our lives, how about incorporating a little more "me" time. Practice simple breathing techniques, hand mudras, relaxation and basic meditation. Time for you to Breathe, Relax and Feel again!
No experience is required and an open mind is recommended.

Qi Gong (Chi Kung)

A martial arts form of energy work that focuses on the three energy centers.
Using breath and gentle exercises, Qigong stimulates and increases the flow of chi (breath) throughout the energy centers of the body. Regular practice of Qigong may reduce symptoms of chronic conditions, increase energy levels, boost immune system and create an overall sense of well-being. Please wear any comfortable clothing (street clothes are fine). It is recommended that jewelry be removed during practice.
