Heather Holmes, RYT 200
Yoga has been an integral part of Heather’s life for over 10 years, her practice has helped her grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. In 2015 she completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training at Omaha Yoga and Bodywork’s Center and was a mentor for the class of 2017. For Heather, yoga is exploring the authentic relationship that is built between the body, the mind and the breath. Incorporating practices of Ayurveda, chakras and moon cycles into her teachings, her hope is that each student steps off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.
Off the mat, Heather is passionate about impacting individuals. Heather is a mother, intrapreneur, feminist and sought after mentor who is encouraged daily by the human spirit. She feels working with aging adults is her life’s work. Heather believes in the transformative power of education and women in leadership. She holds certifications in recreational therapy and is a dementia practitioner. Her master’s degree is in public administration and she is a licensed assisted living administrator.
