Yin/Yang Yoga w/ Amy Anderson

Fridays from 6:00 to 7:30pm (6 week course, $72)

Meets: May 9, May 16, May 23, June 6, June 13, and June 20 (no class May 30)

This class combines the longer, passive-style pose holds of Yin Yoga with a more active Yang Yoga practice. Using the Chinese meridian system as the foundation for Yin practice, learn to disengage muscles to stretch joints, balance chi. A more traditional style of Yoga is used for Yang poses. Blending Chinese and Indian styles of working with the body brings movement to joints ad strength to muscles which supports mediation practice. All body types welcome, 6 months regular yoga practice encouraged.
